I have some questions about the Arcadeshop multi board

I'm thinking about buying one of these for my dad for fathers day to replace his 60-1 and have a couple questions.

He really likes Missile Command, but doesn't want another cabinet for only one game. How does Missile Command look in the vertical setup? Is it just the horizontal game on a vertical monitor? And because it's a cocktail setup the trackball would be difficult. From what I saw on Acadeshop the trackball hooks up to the same ports as the joystick so would it to possible to add a switch that would switch the joystick and trackball on each side? Or does something need to be configured in the options to use a trackball?

Another question is can Pacman and Galaga be set to the fast settings? That's also a deal breaker.

And one more, is there wiring for additional lights on the jamma harness? I used an arcadedepot cocktail kit with wood behind the CP and would like to switch it to plexi with two lights behind it.

I am not a huge Missile Command guy, so take this with a grain of salt... but I don't find the vertical screen orientation to be distracting. The game still kicks my ass. That's about all I can tell ya.

It's been a while since I wired up my trackball, but it's essentially 3 wires from the JAMMA harness from my recollection...I am not sure about cocktail mode as I wired my cab for single player (upright).

Another question is can Pacman and Galaga be set to the fast settings? That's also a deal breaker.
Yes... Pac Man can be set to fast, same with Galaga. With Pac/Ms. Pac you can also set it to be normal unless you "cheat" and press a button and hold it. While you hold the button down it jumps to fast mode. Let off the button and it's normal mode.

I am not sure what you mean about "lights" unless you mean the LED support. Essentially the board will drive LED's and make them flash like Atari "volcano" style buttons... I have mine set up on my Multipede... they Atari buttons will flash while waiting for a game to start and stay on during gameplay. I do believe they also indicate player up, etc.

the light you refer to are like the Pac-Man/galaga style. If you can pull the wood off and install semi-clear plexi there, then it's a simple matter of installing a couple light bulb sockets and connecting them to the power supply for lighting the CP's...
