Here is a little back story.

We were on a cruise and I found out she LOVES the coin pusher machines. She HATES the arcade games and thinks it is stupid to have them now since I am a "grown" man. Supposedly you are supposed to grow out of wanting to play these childish games. For Christmas I finally found a coin pusher and she thought it was a stupid game. She has grown to enjoy it and we use it as a piggy bank.

So skip a few years later.

We are looking at buying a house and she comes out of the blue and says, "you could put the arcade in this room." The room she is talking about is just off the kitchen and is listed as the formal dinning room. I was completely blown away.

Guess what!?

If we get the house I will have an arcade!

2012 seems to be starting of well for me!

I have mine trained to say the same when we start looking after she graduates dental school next yr.

Awesome wife indeed. Mine is equally awesome. At our old house when I first started getting a few games it was her idea to sacrifice the dining room to have a place for the games...

...then a year later we started looking for a new house with one of the main requirements being an "official" gameroom (basement or detached building). So if you like 2012 so far, just wait until 2013 - you might be looking for yet another house with much more space for games. ;)

You have to consider something else to. Many wives will say no arcade games in the living room, but if all you do is mess with arcade games, doesn't it belong there? That is what you LIVE for?
