I have a question for anyone with Shock Wave blacklight carpet

It's out of production but I have the chance to buy some sight unseen... if I move fast. Since I don't have a sample and can't get one before my window closes, I am hoping to talk to someone who has it.

Bottom line, I want to know if it looks as nice as the pictures. Is the black BLACK, or grey like cheap blacklight carpet? I have seen some really lame blacklight carpet, and some really nice stuff. I am hoping the Shock Wave is the nice stuff!

If you have it, would you do it again?

Oh, in case there is confusion--this is the pattern.

Thanks for any comments. Much appreciated!

Not sure where you are, but if anywhere near Atlanta, Andys Carpets is the guy to go with.. he's got amazing quality black light carpet.
:)

I'm near Seattle... I looked up Andy's but their site doesn't say much.

I was hoping to find someone with this pattern near home, but my local collector's mailing list hasn't delivered yet. :)

ZFCamaro has that pattern : http://www.zfcamaro.com/ArcadePictures/gameroom.html ... the few times I've seen it, I thought it looked nice, but maybe he'll chime in, since he owns it. I think there are a few people around here that have it as well (just search the forum)... I've never seen any complaints.

I own Shockwave carpet as well, www.braidarcave.com or check out my video's. I love the carpet i had the same concerns but once it was installed i was very happy!

I own this carpet. The black is a deep black and the others are really bright. Very high quality. Cleans easily as well. Looks incredible under the lights. I wrote a review on Walmarts site with a pic.

My Shock Wave order showed up yesterday--and it is awesome. I'm really happy with the black level and colors. Thanks again for your help!

I'll post some pics when the project is done in a few weeks. :)

Flooring is in, but there's still a fair bit of work to do on the room.

The Shock Wave looks great under blacklight! I'm really glad I took a chance.

We got it from http://capricarpet.com/. They had the best deal shipped to WA.

All the places we called said that they had the same amount of Shock Wave left. Since it is out of production, they may all have been referring to the same roll held at the manufacturer, for all I know.

Anyway, I think we got some of the last Shock Wave available. Sad to see it go!
