I have a Falcon Crazy Kong Jr. machine in my basement I've had for 20 years or so. It's my one and only machine. It works OK, but the screen jitters a bit until it gets warmed up. I've been poking around the web and it seems this is a pretty rare machine, so I thought I would share that I have it.

If anyone cares, I can post some pics.

Also, a $5 cap kit would probably take the jitters right out of that monitor.

Some not-so-good pictures

Here are some quick snaps I did before heading out this morning.

WOW! Really nice! Too bad about the light switch on the front.

Light switch

I have to admit I did that, and the bypass button on the coin detector. It was 1992 and I was young and stupid. I'm not.... young ...anymore.

Ha, looks like an actual DK Jr board.

There is no mention of Kong, just Crazy Jr

I have a Crazy Kong Jr board and it's more like Donkey Kong in gameplay

I love these interesting variations

Thanks for posting.

What's the chance of a closer pic of the board itself. Is the edge connector 22 wide or 18

Cheers

Actually, the title screen says "Junior King."
I've been reading more and I think maybe this isn't really a Falcon machine.

I'd like an "expert" opinion of what I really have here.

I sent this thread to CrazyKongFan, he knows the most about this subject.

Great Game

I meant the marquee says . . . . . :)

This type of c/Kong is the best looking cab. I have seen one before like this, and it was crazy kong fan who had the pics

Awesome! :)

Great pics. Thanks for sharing! I like to see these "in the wild" variations/bootlegs. It's kinda cool. I used to have Falcon board variations of Pac-Man and Ms. Pac. Both of them went to CrazyKongFan. :)

Our Story...

I got this machine in 1991. It was a birthday gift from a friend on the condition I NEVER ASK WHERE IT CAME FROM. I was 22 then. When I got married in 1992, it couldn't come to my new apartment, so I moved it to my new mother-in-law's basement "rumpus room" between a large bookshelf and an entertainment center. That's when I put the light switch on the front for convenience. I thought it was rather clever at the time. It stayed there, little used, until 2007 when we finally bought our house. Juinior and I were reunited and it rests comfortably in my basement. The kids play it occasionally, but even the coolness factor of having an arcade machine in the house doesn't really compare with Wii.

I know the feeling.... Me: "Hey, I have 10 arcade machines and a pinball machine." Response from kids: "Can I play the Wii?" :(
