We were just talking about this on the other thread. "Shipping Horror stories"
Sometimes it's not the sellers fault. USPS does thrash some stuff around.
I can't believe that they just delivered it like there was no problem.

wow. Just wow. Wtf was in there?

The mail man doesnt like me. He thinks I get to many packages. We got in a argument one day. He said I cant run a business out of the house. I told him im not in business, that im a collector. He didnt believe me.

I hope there wasn't any Lunar Lander parts in that box.

No thank god. I was lucky. It was 2" bolts for my quantum rollerball. There wasnt even a damaged slip attached to it. I think he did it on purpose!

If its a heavy box he wont even deliver it. He leaves it in the truck and sneeks up to the door. He leaves a slip saying he attemped to deliver it, and that I need to pick it up at the post office:mad: I caught him one day. He has done this to me 3 times!!

time to send some heavy as balls fake packages flat rate and setup a hidden camera jawhn style... matter of fact that reminds me i gotta go harass him in that burgularized thread

WOW That explains everything. It's really none of their business. What does he care? That is his job.
I would report him.

1. you can run a business out of your house, unless he knows the ins and outs of your leave or home owners association.

2. he needs is ass kicked

I don't care if a guy wants to have a big mouth, free country. Just be prepared to back it up.

I know, I even told him if it was to heavy I would come carry it out of his truck. He is a prick!!

I think he'd be so worried about losing his job he'd be on his best behavior.
Document as much as possible with dates and pictures.

Im going to be waiting for him tommorrow!! Im sure he will bitch because I got 16 packages last week. But thats his job!!! I paid to have this shit shipped!!

Report him. I've had a number of mail issues over the years and have found the USPS complaint process is actually VERY effective!

Fill out the complaint online. It gets tracked that way and forces them to act on it. The trick is to report each incident you have as it occurs.

My issue was chronic misdelivery of mail. I started reporting each incident and it quickly escalated to the Postmaster level. A big part of the issue was the Post Office Branch Manager and I started requiring the Branch Manager to come personally pick up the misdelivered mail from me at my office. After a few times of that shit, they fixed the problem fast!

Once you start opening complaints if he tries any retaliation you will have it all documented and can easily make claims for damages at that point as you'll have established a history. Most likely what will happen is the carrier will be re-assigned to a different route.

Yea, since when can't you run a business out of your home? My mom use to run hers out of her house and i run a small business out of mine currently lol.

I think your right!!. The packages I send I take to the post office, so the only thing he can mess up are incoming packages!!

Great advice. The new mail man use to misdelivery mail too until I reminded him that, We still believe in doing things old school and still give tips to the garbage and mail man during Christmas. He was a lot more friendlier still after 5 years after the fact. it's good to know there is a back up plan if he still misdelivery
