I hate games that requires you butcher the jamma harness.
Everything should had been with kick-harness addons since the beginning. I'm a jamma era gamers so I tend to switch titles around in one of my generic cab, and I hate having to add more buttons straight into the jamma adapter just for a certain game. The Atomiswave requires you modify the adapter that way, the namco fighers have some weird stuff (from what I recall, + a kick harness addon), and so on.
I wish that crap could had been settled from the beginning, which was the whole point of the jamma standard. I felt like installing my atomiswave board with Fist of the North Star into my Killer Instinst 2 generic cab, but eh, I realised I would have to take out the -5 line, reroute all the buttons lines, bla bla bla. I was NOT in the mood for that at all last night.
It's part of the hobby, but damn it makes you appreciate things like the Neo-Geo MVS setup. The fact that companies went that way also complicates things so much for jamma switchers and so on.
And..that was my random observation of the day.
