So the guy comes to my house yesterday to deliver my t-molding, and can't reach it in his truck and says to my daughter who is waiting patiently "I will be back" and never comes.

Today still nothing. I should have paid the extra 50 cents for UPS.

Edit: The original delivery date was the 11th, they just adjusted it to suit them.

How does he not reach something in his truck.... Sounds bogus. I think they lost your package.

If it was, I would force people to send me everything through FedEx, that would be awesome

Yep, had one like this not too long ago that I posted here...

The "No attempt made" just makes no sense whatsoever. Especially when they can just push the delivery date to make it seem like it wasn't supposed to be delivered anyway. Ugh... there goes my blood pressure. :)

Good luck Tighe... hang in there...

I had the same thing happen with UPS. I knew when the package was supposed to be delivered, they usually deliver late. I waited for the truck, is stopped in front of my house turned the engine off then went off to the next delivery, two houses down. I went out to talk to the driver to see what happened. He told me it was not on the truck, and did not know why. I believe the truck is loaded by someone else and the driver get a list of deliveries. The list may say it's on the truck but then again it may not be. I call ups and was able to to to the local UPS office and pick up the package. They all have problems. Problem with businesses and people today is that no one really cares anymore. The Post office is the worst offender.

Actually, when they do a "Not Attempted", it goes on the drivers record as a failure. You or the shipper should be able to get reimbursed as this is a service failure, but only if the package was due to be delivered on the 11th. It did get delivered on the 12th, but still it was due on the 11th, refund should be in order.

Just got it! They showed up in a budget rent a van!

Most fedex deliverymen are subcontractors... Sure they operate under a certain set of uniform rules and procedures. But there still is a bit a rift.

I have never had a problem with FedEx's delivery. Now UPS, thats a different story. I have had packages come late, smashed, and I REFUSE to use UPS. Theyre more expensive for shittier service.
