I got the dirtiest Elvis of all time.... (Before & After pics)

Good score, sir. Is 2K what a routed elvis is generally pulling or did you get a good deal? I want to add one eventually. Love elvis' music. Mom is a fanatic and I grew up with it.

I think it was an OK deal. Elvis prices seem kinda all over the map, but I think a nice clean one can be worth between $2500-2800.

Nice one Greg!

I love Stern's Elvis. It just plain fun, and I'd love to own one. There are a ton of them on route around here in various forms of disrepair. There was one that was kept up for a while, but it also is a PoS now. One of the local guys has one. A few years ago on my first trip to his house, he had it in pretty much out of the box condition. It was the first time I had ever seen and/or played a pin in excellent condition...it was a life changing moment.

Several years later and I'm a pin-head who ironically came full circle and was hired to work on this same Elvis pin. There are some sweet mods you should consider. First and foremost - get the shaker motor! It is a direct bolt in addition and the software is already set up for it. It is frikkin great.
Also, cointaker has a backbox LED light board that just kicks total butt. It is pretty pricey though.

I love shakers and was gonna get it - but I read on RGP that the shaker isn't that great in Elvis ...but as a shaker fan I kinda wanna get it anyway...hehe. I was hoping it thumped along to the music, but it seems like it just shakes during some modes and stuff.

The Cointaker thing is pretty rad....I'm going to make my Elvis "gold" on my own w/ a gold trim kit...as long as I'm pimping it out, maybe I should get the Cointaker backbox thing as well!

I think a shaker would be annoying if it was always shaking to the music or something. Less is more.

I think if something like that was adjustable, or super subtle - it would be sweet. Spider-Man is a great example of shaker use...when you hit the Goblin targets, there's just a really subtle shake that 'feels' like a 'hit' ...Sandman's shaker "RUMBLES" ...Venom's "GROWLS" ...combos give a small sharp "hit" ...it's all very cool. It's more than just full power vibration.

At least 3 of the local guys have an Elvis, maybe more...

A life changing moment huh? WOW!

I have to admit some offense taken to the first time comment, since you'd seen my games earlier... ;)

I just received my first pinball machine this week. An Elvis! Must have played it about 100 times already and it just doesn't get old. Hope that lasts for a while. The music is just great, but i think i would like to add the pinball pro bass speaker upgrade. Not sure if they offer the upper speakers as well.
I would like to hear more about add on's and mods for this machine from others that have or had one.

Literally that same day an hour before...

...and all of your pins were turned off in a very dark room. Don't worry though, because I was quite impressed with your collection too. I didn't wanna drool too much though.
