I just bought a 1970's Cavalier Coke machine this afternoon! Big thanks to Channelmanic for helping me out. He met me at the place, helped me check it over, trouble shoot it, load it, and came back to my place to unload it! RJ is a helluva guy.

I'll try and snap some pics to upload later. This thing is pretty cool, and my wife loves it. She thinks it's cute. It's got it's minor war wounds, but overall in good shape.

Here she is:

I've cleaned it up a bit and changed a couple of the labels out. Two slots don't vend for some reason, but it gets drink super cold! The funniest part is that it's set for 5c drinks!

Very cool.. looks to be in nice shape! I'm not too familiar with the push button machines, but there should be a microswitch somewhere in each column that senses if product is there. Sounds like either the column isn't loaded enough or theses switches may be bad.

What does the inside look like? Some machines you have to pull the whole vending assembly out, others have a removable panel to access the switches and motors..

Got a manual for this thing. Unfortunately, it's only a parts manual, not a service manual. The website didn't say that, or I probably wouldn't have bothered buying it. At least it has exploded views of everything. I still have one slot that won't vend, but I did figure out how to get to the light bulbs to change them.
