Soooooo, here we go again! Some may know that I dayjob as a deputy sheriff here in Charleston, and Im always on the pinball and arcade game hunt. It would definetely suprise you the places I have seen games, but anyway, back to the point.
About this time last year, my constant hunting and politicing led me to a warehouse raid, where I left with six free games. I have now found another warehouse, and seemingly givaway pricing. I just spoke with the owner and said I would bring my trailer and some cash, and I will spend it all, and we will see how much I can get. he asked me if I could make multiple trips, as he really wants to offload everything. im sensing that all the games will be free again, but I am going to do the honorable thing and seriously try to pay at least some this time. My trailer is 4x8, so It can hold maybe 5-6 games?? dont know, but I may be going back and forth all day. The only title im gonna divulge right now is at least a few Mrs Pacs.

These are from a closed operator, so there is a high liklihood of them working, at least semi working. Suposedly business closed on short notice and all games were moved to this warehouse.

If I can take them all, the ones I dont want(which could be 20-30), i will offer to KLOVers for 50 bucks each. I dont care, and that makes me technically 200 bucks per load. Each load should take me maybe an hour roundtrip, plus the lifting so I think that is fair. A list of the extra games will be listed tmw afternoon here, if there are any interested parties.

This may be awesome for alot of us, thanks to all my hard work networking!!!! wish me KLOV luck!!!!!!

My ultimate "Raid" vehicle!!!!! (my new car for work).

Thats awesome!! Good luck! Let us know what you get, I may be interested in making the trip down if there are any titles that I'm interested in!!

Dude, that sounds awesome. Have fun!

Thanks! I love the "hunt" for the games......Tmw is gonna be the end result of an almost year long hunt..Im going to try to snap some pics this time

I love playing my games, but probably equaly love the hunt, the find, the parts hunt, the restoration, and ultimately, looking at the completed project, now thats a satisfying feeling....

Another side story, I know a guy here in town that has 30(thirty)!!!!! BRAND NEW Pacmans, never played, sitting in a climate controlled warehouse.

Im still working that one, hopefully someday I can weasel in there and post that story!!!!

WOW! 30!! That's just insane!! I would love to hear about that if you ever get in. :)

I cant wait till you get to post more information and pictures from this raid. Sounds like its going to be pretty amazing!
Thanks for Sharing.

What what what!?!?!!

Crazy, huh? Im slowing trying to warm him to the idea of selling them, and I would be the first person he would call, i just dont want to pressure him at all.......In all honesty, they are cool, but do they really hold much value?? They cant possibly just fire up and work can they?
Next time Im there, Im gonna at least see if he wants to turn one on

My sister lives in Goose Creek, I may have to go visit her when you get the games so I can buy a couple of them from you.

Have you ever ask him why he has 30 just sitting there? Are there any others?

He was an operator, he just never put these Pacs on location. I think he thinks they are really valuable, im not sure. He is loaded but hes not gonna give them away for sure. Maybe i can slowly wear him down over the next few years!!!

I'd even come and help lift-

Drop me a line if interested.

Hey Kerry!! Thought I might hear from ya.. Ive told a few om PMs and email, I sincerely appreciate the offers for help, but the gentleman is very quiet and secretive, and only feels comfortable with me(cause of my job probably), and the warehouse is in a bad area, and he doesnt want anyone knowing what is there. He has a significant car collection on scene as well, and by significant, i mean SIGNIFICANT!!

But seriously, no matter what the games are, im only keeping maybe 10, all the rest will definetly be 50 bucks each to KLOVers. I never got in this hobby to make money, that takes the fun out of it

Take care

Wow, what a great thing you're doing! It's incredibly nice of you to offer up the remaining cabs to klovers for $50! There's a bunch of people out there that would flip these in a heartbeat - it's refreshing to see someone actually be more inclined to help out fellow collectors.

That being said, how do you feel about palletizing/shipping and of these? At $50, if there's any "must haves" for non-local klovers, I wouldn't mind paying shipping... of course, if you don't want to deal with that headache, I don't blame you. I'm sure anyone within driving distance will pick these up. Can't wait to see the list! And the pics of the warehouse!

Are the pacs still in their original boxes/crates? If not then it becomes a lot harder to call them "new". If they are indeed actually even unused and not just a horde of machines that got pulled off location after a short period of time (not that I think your friend would be lying, but I have also seen a lot of supposedly home use only games that had lockbar holes on them).

It is indeed possible that some of them will indeed turn right on and work, however it is equally likely that there will be burst caps and other problems to deal with.

They probably aren't worth as much as he thinks they are.
