Games

Of all the games you have owned and all the ones you own now. 1000s. I love to see you still get excited about a new arrival. Nice score.

i might even let you play it. Im not sure though, its only got 535 plays on it, and its in great shape. You will get to see it next week.

I like getting excited as well, I enjoy selling games, but the whole reason i got into the business was to build up my own collection. And lately it has been all work and no play. So i had to splurge. The downside is that i was also called today and told that i did buy a spiderman pin as well. I dont think the wife is going to like that amount of splurging in one week. Luckily, the guy is going on vacation and said for us to finish the deal at the end ofthe month.

Current Pin lineup

No Fear, Flintstones, Cirqus Voltaire, Theater of Magic, Demolition Man, Class of 1812, Super Mario Bros Mushroom World, Guns and Roses, Sopranos, Ripleys Believe it or not, Lord of the Rings,Shrek, CSI

When I got back into pinball a couple years ago I used to be a bally/wms guy. That's what I grew up with in the 90s. I played a few Sterns (RCT and LOTR) and the feel was just... different and not quite as good, I thought. My friends felt the same and had the same background.

Then Lucky Ju Ju in Alameda got a CSI, loaned by one of their members. My friend reluctantly admitted that it was pretty fun, and our friend, Al, put up a high score hitting all the toys and features.

Okay, I'll give it a try. What the heck? Ju Ju is pay one price/free play so what do I have to lose? What do you know. "Hey Mikey, he likes it!"

Still my favorite Stern. But after playing CSI I sort of "got it" about Stern games. They have a different feel than what I grew up with but once I adjusted I realized I enjoyed many just as much.

Great score on the new game!

just looked that game up on IPDB

looks pretty fun

a skull ? woa

whats that circular thing in the center/back area ?

and a microscope ? cool

cant wait to play it someday

Is switching to a Stern lineup a trend or something? A local friend of mine now has mostly Stern's. I think he has 7 or 8 of them. In that pile is a Family Guy he bought NiB.

Ive played csi a few times now and I think it's a lots of fun. The upper right flipper is tough, the centrifuge not so much. Overall it's cool.

The circle thing is the centrifuge, like they use to separate blood plasma. You shoot the ball in there and it gets swirled - cool sound effect too. It's even more fun when you get two.

The microscope has a magnet feature. When you shoot that lane the ball will freeze right under the microscope's eye, like it's being analyzed.

The lab shot is sort of like the electric chair on TAF. It's a kickout. The skillshot actually requires skill. Also, if you lock a ball, the game will auto plunge it, but if you're fast enough you can manual plunge and aim for the skill shot hole, which will advance the photo lab (eventually lights EB)

I had my doubts with CSI the first time I played one. After awhile I really got into it...

BTW...A cool looking pin when tricked out with led's and those yellow "Caution" side rails....

Awesome pin Troy!!!!

does it have audio from the show? any new audio recorded for the pin? how about the theme song?

just curious....from what i've heard, the 24 pin doesn't have any new jack bauer audio.

I have never played it, but I'd like to, plus the girlie is a big fan of the show, so perhaps, some day, I can get her to play a few rounds. Nice score for sure!

Yeah, a main guy from the show narrates everything. "Skull... Multi-ball!!"

I don't watch the show, so this was actually a turn-off for me at first. But for fans of the show, I could see different. Still, the game play, in my opinion, is nice.

Not quite the experience of "don'ttouchthedoordon'ttouchthedoorBOOM" as TZ. But how many games can ever live up to that?

im very happy with it, it has 535 plays, so its basically brand new. Now im in the process of getting a spiderman as well, i didnt plan on 2 high end games this month, but just to hard to pass up good deals

Cool! I really want to play CSI ...they didn't make too many of them. I honestly don't know anything about the show/characters, but just from watching youtube videos of CSI pinball, I really like the sound and music in the game....something about the piano followed by those guitar riffs...it just sounds really cool.
