Something's missing though. Do you see it? Dead giveaway: that one in the middle? NOT a CR-23. It's physically larger, not sure what it is.

So, I don't have a spare chassis here at home (every chassis I own is matched with a tube, and I have a plan for all but one, and that one works 100% so I wouldn't feel right butchering it), but at work we have a junked D9410 chassis. It's been orphaned (i.e. doesn't have a tube to go with it) because we bought a whole new chassis after it exploded due to a defective anode clip. (At the time I hadn't done much more than replace a CDT or two...) So, I've been using it as a parts chassis. The socket connector is still there. Monitor gurus: would that happen to be a CR-23?

While I'm at it, are any of those three adapters something I might use? If not, I'll cut the neck sockets off one of them and use its molex instead of buying a new one, to save time.

Well, I pulled the socket and brought it home. (Easiest desoldering I've EVER done. Nice big pins!) The pins very very definitely line up, but don't want to go in. It's like the D9410's tubes had smaller pins but the same layout. Curious. I think I can mod these pins to make it work in any case.

Could I still get an ID on the other adapters? I want to know which one to rip apart.

After much frustration and drilling and other nastiness, not to mention watching a comedian swallow five double-sided razors, I made a more-or-less workable CR-23 adapter. And I just used it to shoot my first tube. I decided to let the tube cool off before trying it, but I'll post the results in that cab's thread when I'm ready.
