And my uncle got this one:

Both are in awesome shape, working fine with keys and locks. I also received some cool game room deco. It's called a shadow box. It's really neat looking. On the back of the box, there are 4 listed. This one, along with the inside of a popcorn machine, a jukebox and a one cent gumball machine. I'd like to get the rest to complete the series. They look really cool.

If you really want one check out Gumballs.com. The prices are pretty good and they have excellent service. I deal with them through work and had two coin mechs break, they sent me new ones quickly and free of charge, all the machines come with a warranty. I am not connected with them in any way but if you want a new machine at a good price with great service check them out, you might be surprised how cheap you can get a nice setup.

Nice machines you got there and I like that shadow box too. Only arcade related item I got was my Galaga ornament, but it is pretty cool.

I would love to have one in my game room but I keep thinking were is the little bastard neighbor kid going to pit that game when there done? I'm sure not in the garbage can.
Looks good still thinking about it maybe I will just move the neighbor kid away.

I have a beauty, round globe machine. I had to sand/repaint it when I got it, and get some internal replacement parts from the above mentioned gumball parts supplier. I kept M&Ms in it for a long time, but when I bought it it was full of antique glass marbles, and Im seriously thinking about putting them back in there just for looks

I'm not sure what I want to put in mine. I was thinking the obvious gumballs. But I love me some M&M's. Any suggestions on what else I could put in? My uncle want's to put peanuts in his if possible.

thats why you will end up with two.. i have one for gumballs and the other had M&Ms but we stocked up on the after-halloween candy sale and have skittles to replace the M&Ms..

speaking of which, i need to build a stand for my two. i have wall mounts but dont want to mount them that way (yet).

I've currently got a two-head machine and I generally keep M&M's in one, and Skittles in the other.
Recently I had peanut-butter M&M's in the one head, and I've also tried trail mix, Reeses-pieces, peanut-M&M's. I'll say that trail mix wasn't the best idea (it had raisins, so therefore there were some issues getting the thing cleaned out).

I don't like the pressed-sugar type candy, nor do I like gumballs, so I haven't tried any of those.

Anyone got any other good ideas for candy-machine compatible candy? I'm sure there's stuff I haven't tried, I just don't know what it is!

Anyone looking for a machine, keep an eye on Ebay - I got my two-head Northern (with stand) a couple of years ago for like $5. The guy who had it put it up for local pickup only and happened to be nearby. It had locks, but no keys, but the locks were not installed, so I didn't even have to drill it! I just threw the old locks away and bought el-cheapo locks off Ebay (they'd never survive in the real world, but in my kitchen they do fine).

For a total of less than $20. I have a pretty good machine! The only real problem is that I go in there way too often...
