So I found this forum and my goldmine in my search to build a mame cabinet. I was looking for an empty cabinet to mame and the guy shows me a complete NFL Blitz 99 cabinet for 25, SOLD! He said the monitor MAY work. I get it home and its NFL Blitz 2k and NBA showtime and it works nearly perfect. I was shocked. So I go back both looking for more cabs and feeling guilty. I ask do you want to sell any more games he says I sure do. He shows me the warehouse with at least 50 games!!!! He also tells me that he gave me the wrong game the last time, but hes a man of his word etc. He shows me 2 more games, a golden tee 2k and a NEO GEO dual cab. 25 a piece for those and I gave him 50 more because I felt bad about the previous one. He told me he'll sell them for 25 but he has no idea if they work and hes not gonna check. Again they do! Next trip I get an other golden tee 2k ($75) and an other blitz 2k nba showtime with no monitor (free). So total cost 200 for 4 good games and an empty cab. I feel pretty lucky. Anyways heres the pics.

I'm gonna keep 1 golden tee, give the NEO GEO to a friend for his kids, gave the other golden tee to a friend for some favors and some speakers and gonna make a mame.

I'm gonna sell the Blitz 2K/NBA Showtime and 49 way joysticks from the cabinet without the monitor, I know how most forums feel about noobies selling things so I'll probably put them on CL/ebay. What do you think the game is worth.

Also a quick question, one of the golden tees has alternating slightly light and dark bars that slowly roll from top to bottom I think this is a vertical sync or hold issue? I think there are pots for both of these, should I just try adjusting them?

Dunno but IMHO you need to :
1. Sell the pool table.
2. Put some color on those walls.
3. Fill that huge room up with classics.
At those prices, I'm sure he could fill that room pretty quickly (and cheaply)
Looks like a great space though, I like that checkerboard floor pattern almost better than the white/black you typically see...

Why would you mame a complete working game like that?
I don't think he's mame-ing it. Looks like it's FS.
I'm guessing the empty one may become the mame cab...

For a second there, I thought someone found pics of a "Goldmine" arcade!

Who needs a basement? I was just thinking about how many classics would fit into that Blitz control panel.

Thanks for all the comments guys. To answer some of the questions. I'm renting the house, so the awesome tile floor and walls aren't getting changed. There are 2 Blitz/showtime games, one is complete and for sale, and the one without the monitor will get parted out and mamed. The Blitz control panel is nice and big so I'm going to try and fit 4 players on it but I'm not sure if thats going to happen. The car is a 67 Camaro, which I restored. The warehouse does not have any classic games, it has a lot of Neo Geo cabs, and to be honest when I go the guy seems like hes in a pretty big hurry and I don't want to wear out my welcome so I just take a very quick look pick out 2 and say I'll be back with my truck in a half hour. He then moves them out, sometimes takes the locks out and thats that. Once the Neo Geo and the Blitz are gone I'll go get 2 more lol, for 25 dollars how could I turn them down:)

Sorry I mistook your 67 camaro for a 68 mustang. But its easy to do seeing as how after Ford produced one of the best cars ever in 64 1/2 through 1966, chevy had to copy it....poorly.

DUDE!!!! KEEP THAT GUY HAPPY!!!!!!

if all his stuffs like that id buy every one i could get my hands on for that cheap of a cost!!!!
