I am so slow at projects, but I finally got my Asteroids running :D

Thanks to MrBill for fixing the board (2 years ago ) and to Anthony at QuarterArcade for the G05-802. It didn't take much to get it going! All I need is T-molding for the right side and a back door and it's done.

Note about fixing the monitor: I was almost foiled by a loose fuse. Only one side was tight.

Anyway, I don't finish things very often, so very exciting here!

Your doing better than me. I have had 2 solar quest cabinets for about 2 years in my apartment and still haven't played either one! The cabinets are both about as restored as they are going to get. I will eventually get my boards back from Cinelabs, hopefully, maybe, someday... (he's only had them a few months, not the whole 2 years)

I am the king of slow projects

Asteroids looks great, I never played one in person, and never realized the cardboard stuck out over the screen like that.

Congrats! Looks great!

Yeah I agree, hey don't feel bad I'm in the same boat with my Rampage restore it's about on the same time scale. I'm almost totally done it's just the fine tuning that's going to freaking take a little longer to get down like the sound and controls. I just painted the speaker grill today and I still need to make a back door for the cabinet.
