I dont think this is a monitor issue..19k4900 fuse keeps blowing

I have a Joust with a 4900 monitor....and it has been delux recapped and worked fine for the last 2 years....the game was hardly played any to be honest but none the less, it worked like a charm....last weekend i finished my mancave/arcade...I moved Joust into it turned it on, fuse blew (4a 250v)....so i replaced fuse...blew gain...replaced it...blew again..THEN i replaced the 4900 board with another one, turned game on..it blew the fuse...

I figured i dislodged something when i moved the game but everything seems in tact..

So if two different boards are having the same issue then what within the game internal parts would make fuses keep blowing?

i have 129.6 going into the monitor chassis......the b+ is good on both...and getting no errors on the main pcb...it has a switching power supply

Try this, see if the fuse still blows with the signal cable and ground braid disconnected.

If it does not blow be aware that the frame of the tube may be energized so dont touch it without metering it to earth ground before hand.

One of my customers K7000's is doing this, the tube is shorted in his game.

Fixed..you were right...the ground wire from neck board to tube was exposed in one spot was grounding to the tube...i put eletrical tape around the exposed area and its fixed...thanks
