I do like basket case projects - Williams Black Knight

Live streamed a few of the test plays.

From this play test I learning that the right outlane switch needed adjusted, that is now detecting the ball.

I also adjusted the right flipper EOS switch and its working better now.

What are you trying to show here?

Missing plastics. Don't recall if they are true to the original design or not.
My original BK did not have them. They are included in the CPR kit.

^^ fun vid to watch. I really should make the time to clean up my pin.
Of all my pins, my BK was the first in the collection and would be the last to leave. Good memories.
Simple design. Love the speech and the theme.

Yeah I have them in my CPR kit, I don't really like them since they aren't original and the Stainless Steel is a good look.

I added additional GI lighting that seems like it should have been there on the right side of the upper playfield.

You'll also notice that bonus multiplier lights in the hilt of the sword are different from the left side to the right side, I was testing the look of normal clear #47 bulbs and the purple colored bulbs. The left has purple and it looks a lot better. The plastic of the inserts on this were pretty faded to an almost clear. Except for the blue arrows by the drop targets, I'm also testing different bulbs there as they block a lot of the light.

Hey Charles, my BK that I'm putting the finishing touches on right now is yours's slightly older brother. They were likely manufactured the same day!

Only 7 apart! That's awesome.

What revision of roms does your have?
It had rev 2 until last week. I have a spare BK MPU that had rev 4 roms, so I swapped them over. Not really noticing any differences though. I have a second much later build BK with the system 7 power supply, and I've been noticing some interesting differences with this early build one. Like, I didn't have commas in my displays and thought something needed fixing/replacing. Pulled the master display board, which was the correct 455260 s/n original one in this machine, to find it was a system 6A board likely leftover from Alien Poker and not set up with jumpers and resistors for commas. Do you have your original unaltered master display in yours?

Edit: I just checked your photos, your master display also doesn't have the resistors of a later one, but your two jumpers (next to the larger connector on the right) are in different spots than mine. You've always had commas working on yours?

Charles,
Week 1 of the new league starts today. You could play BK one week and alternate with Space Shuttle the next for max variety points.

The more the merrier...

I just discovered and finished reading through this. That was one heck of a restoration. Thanks for sharing. One question, what is this game to the right of the pin?
