Attend the Video Games Live show here in Pittsburgh.
For those of you that aren't familar with it...its a show they put on by your local symphonies and choirs that play all the classic and newer video game music..its actually really cool. They have a big screen and synchronize the graphics and game play with the music...definately something to see... Some of the game developers are put up on screen to introduce different scores...here is small exert from program...
Video Games Live is an immersive concert event featuring music from the biggest video games of all time. Top Orchestras and choirs around the world perform along with exclusive video footage and music arrangements, synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic percussion, live action and unique intereactive segments to create an explosive one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. Special Events surround the show, including a pre-and post show fesitval where guests enjoy interactive game demos, a costume contest, game competitions, prizes and the very popular meet and greet with the game composers and designers...
Some people dressed like there favorite character and won a prize before show.
They also picked someone out audience during show and they played a space Invaders on huge screen and had to clear first board...to win a smaller game...girl that was picked didn't win...but it was funny watching here move side to side on stage..cause they had her tracked(she actually had to move here feet to move ship side to side) she used a button in her hand to fire...
I really loved how they were able to produce some of the best music....they mixed in classics...Legend of Zelda..mario bros..dk...they also had some of the best consoles Final Fantasy..etc..tons of different ones..
There was another kid who was picked and played guitar hero on big screen..he was pretty good..on expert but just missed score he needed to get big prize...
