Here it is

Double Dragon

Anything I need to know?

It is in overall good shape. New buttons and joysticks, NOS overlay, original cabinet, bottom is rough and needs some T molding.

Nice cabinets. You can run just about every 2-player beat-em-up in that thing.

I will dive in to that eventually since I just unplug one board and connect another correct?

I am gonna want to make the bottom of the cabinet nicer. needs some help down there.

Oh sweet, Double Dragon! Nice pickup. Now first thing you'll wanna do is get rid of your Double Dragon board and put a nice Bad Dudes to replace it. ;)

Immaculate shape though, best DD I've ever seen in recent years. :)

Essentially yes for most JAMMA stuff. I can't recall if Double Dragon uses -5 volts but some JAMMA boards require that. The slide out drawer on this cab makes it great for swapping pcb's. :)

Edit: Yes it does use -5 so you should be set.

bottom of the cabinet is pretty beat... but for 25 years old I guess it is pretty good

How do I find a list of games that will work in this thing?

Ah well that's not too bad. Better to patch the bottom which will rarely get a look. ;)

Bad Dudes, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Contra, Ninja Turtles 2P, Simpsons 2P, Golden Axe, etc. are a few I can think of off the top of my head that are notable. Not sure where to find a whole list of ones that you can swap in there though.

Keep in mind that not all games will play just because they are JAMMA (i.e. a trackball game or lightgun game) but you definitely get a nice selection with a cab like that. The monitor is supposed to be easy to rotate if you want to switch it from horiztonal like it is to vertical (for something like Areo Fighters or Sky Shark)

No, a lot of modern boards are still JAMMA. It's always good to check, as there have always been and continue to be many unique and different pinouts for games, but a lot of SHMUPs coming out these days still use JAMMA because all the candy cabs in Japanese arcades are wired for it. Same with other genres too, though not to the same extent.

Yet you forgot Final Fight of all games...

Congrats! Very nice!

Yeah, you have a lot of boards that will work in there at your disposal. Just check the main site of KLOV.com to check out boards you're interested in. It will tell you if it's JAMMA on the description page of each game. It will also say how many buttons a game requires. With two 8-way sticks and 3 buttons per player, you have plenty of options. Good luck!
