Well, I've been lurking these and other forums for a while, researching and looking at the problems and joys of wading in. Despite quite more cautionary posts than I thought there woudl be, I dove in. My name is Dane and I just bought my first three cabs. I love looking at my giant evil space centipede!

Nice pick up! And welcome!

At first glance, they look to be in decent shape. Any water damage? Do they work?

That Shinobi is in a Taito cabinet, just wondering which one. The Centipede has a bootleg (or Willis) cpo on it. I don't think anyone every figured out if it was produced by Willis or not. I like the look of that overlay.

Good luck with it all.

Wow that's amazing! I am basically in the same exact situation myself! Just joined this forum because I will be restoring my first two cabinets: Area 51 and Marvel vs Capcom 2. Good luck with your project! I can't wait to get started myself, picking these beauties at the end of the month!

No big damage. The sides of Ms. PacMan are rubbed away near the monitor. The front panel of Centipede has some damage. Ms Pac plays blind, Centipede has something wrong with the ship and needs new rollers and bearings. Shinobi has at least a blown fuse or bad power supply. Got all three for a great price, now to learn from a local about fixing.

Hand wear on Pacs and Ms. Pacs is more common than not, unfortunately. Once you dig into them, post a help thread for each and you'll get the right people chiming in to get them up and running.

Rock on man.
Screw getting in the pool one foot at a time.
Jump right in and do a big old cannonball.
