Of course it will be running a jrok board, but how hard would it be to get the artwork together? I'd need stencils cut, a CPO, marquee and bezel. I wonder if the dedicated Splat! that Tanman found is still floating around? If so, how willing do you think the owner is to have the artwork scanned? I really like the uniqueness of the artwork, and what better way to recreate a rare game than to re-purpose an old Robo/Joust Repaint cab and use a reliable jrok board? I love it. Let's do this.

I'm sure that would work for stencils. I'd have to ask Rich or prOk, but it looks close enough for me. Blue base, then mustard, red and white. Simple enough.

I'd love to see this happen as i have a secret love for this game....

Do you even have a Joust 2, Mystic Marathon, or a Blaster? I am fairly sure it is illegal to have a Splat! in a room that doesn't contain at least 2 of those 3. At least it sure seems that way.

Ha! I'll sell you my Joust 2 so you'll be partially there :)

Do it up, man. I was actually thinking a week or so ago that it would be cool to build a 'replica' Inferno cabinet and run it off MAME. Well, I was thinking more along the lines of - could it be done.. and I can't even find a good pic of the CPO.

If getting Splat stencils made depends on enough interest, then I'll jump in. It's a great looking cabinet, and would be perfect for a jrok board..

It will work on a regular Joust or Robotron boardset but for the rom board you need to use the Special Chip #2 (2 of them)

For most it would be easier just to run a JROK setup.

This is true, We have a Splat running on a Robotron board.

Could also use the 19-1 multi and turn all the games off except for Splat. I'm sure if it's like
the 60-1 it boots to the game and never to a menu.

I would also like artwork when available.
