I finally got around to installing the bootleg cpo on my Time Pilot. The original cp was hacked to hell so I removed the old cpo, used a wire wheel to get it back to bare metal, filed down the metal shavings that were sticking out of the old holes, primed it and put the new cpo on last night.

Since my Monroe stick is currently giving me fits and needs to be taken apart and cleaned up, I thought I'd do a little customizing in the meantime. I had a yellow Wico stick laying around and I put it in. I think it looks pretty damn cool!!

I like it so much, I'm wondering if I want to go back to the Monroe stick... :scratchchin:

i am wondering if the colouring of the willis overlay is intended to be the same as the original (unfaded) time pilot colours - it looks good, and the yellow wico seems to fit in very well!

Looks good. Time Pilot is one of my favorite games. I play mine almost daily.

Thanks- yep, TP is one of my favorites too and brings back a ton of memories- can't wait to get further on the art package reproduction!

Color scheme was probably intended, but this isn't a Willis overlay- it is a bootleg for sure. The Willis TP overlay is really light blue and kind of lame actually. The yellow wico is growing on me...

I'd stay with the yellow Wico joystick.

On the fire button - I'd maybe try the yellow button base with the blue button center just to see if it stood out a bit more. (mixmatch button parts)
