I probably haven't played this since I played it in the arcades (if you don't count the testing I did when I bought it). Totally fun.

Next I need to rebuild that crunchy stick. Anyone got any tips for that?

I no longer like you.J/K Where did you pick that up? Did I miss something? Nice score but I still wish it was in my hands.

Thanks guys. It's like a heavy weight is off my shoulders (this cab is friggin heavy, BTW), and it's also like getting a new game. Because even though it sat in my garage, I was never able to play it. It's so cool just looking at it standing upright in one piece again. Small miracle the tube didn't crack and that it still works! I'm very happy and proud. :)

I actually got it just six months before your join date, toby (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=54557), somewhere in like Winnetka from a pro skater guy. Never had time or space to work on it until now. Also had to wait to hear about mighty putty before I decided to try to get it going. Ended up using way more bondo than putty, plus a few new dowel pins, and got to buy my first air tool - a nail gun. It seems to have worked out. Even survived the earthquake!

Just sent registration off to JeffC. :D UR01637

nice

nice score, probably my personal favorite. Ram controls sells all the parts to rebuild your joystick. Dave is on KLOV regularly - user name Daviea. skate to live, live to skate.

Thanks guys. Yeah I've collected the parts for the joystick from various repro projects, the roller, pivot ball and lower ball, and I grabbed a joystick freebie from Dave. I haven't torn apart the stick yet, can't stop playing, but hopefully that will be all I need. I'm thinking about some vinyl, too, but there's no more at TOG.

Jeff, looks like you got my registration e-mail. Thanks!

The scores of the guy who had it before me are still on it. All around 250k scores. Sheesh. It's going to take me a while to even get my name up on the board.

Well since you have to rebuild the controls and some vinyl it sounds like you should just give the thing to me. You have so much going on and I wouldn't want you to get all stressed out, so it would just be best to let me have it and then you will have peace and tranquility. ( Man I hope this BS works Hahahahaha....)

Well, vinyl IS awefully sticky, and I hear the controller thing needs a ton of that messy grease stuff. But I think it just MIGHT be worth the hassle....

Thanks for the offer, though! I'll keep you in mind while I bust out my inverted backside 540's at the ramp parks.

Kids played it last night. The squeals and excitement when they hear "Skate or Die" and the bees start chasing them are priceless.
