I can't find the page that shows which a/r II atari board is used for each game

anyone help, I've been searching for awhile

quick, thanks.

I was thrown a bit by the board I am working on right now. It has a -01. It is from the tempest project I picked up recently.
Looks like the proper board eh?

that does not look like a -01... Tempest needs -02. that looks like a -02.

here is a pic of a -01

It's possible someone had a -01 and populated the missing parts.....thus, turning it into a -02.

yeah, I was thinking something like that as well. I did the bob roberts rebuild, and changed the molex style connectors as well. I happened to compare it to my battlezone a/r II and it's exactly the same.

Heh, I've done that a few times.. Made a ARII-Rev1 into a 2. Had a few REV2s that had huge burn holes, so not worth trying to fix.. Also, a cool trick i learned from Bob Roberts.. Take an ARII-Rev1 and put it on a band or chop saw.. Cut off the unpopulated side, leave enough space for screw holes.. Now you have a Asteroids Deluxe AR pcb.. As AD uses the large 4700 speaker caps..

Great trick if you have a bunch of ARII-Rev1s, as there are a lot of dead pole positions out there.. So lots of ARII-rev1s!!
