I recently purchased a Dig Dug cabinet and shortly after I started having issues with the picture. I have no experience with monitors so I've been reading up on how to maintain and repair them etc.

The monitor is a WG 19 K4679 and I'm having trouble finding any info on it. I've seen other ones with model # k4675, k4677 etc. etc. but not mine. I was hoping maybe someone has one and knows if I can use K4600 parts on this monitor, I know it might sound obvious that I could but I just wanted to make sure since like I said I haven't found any info on this monitor.

yes its a k4600. there are several distinct models in the 4600 series but parts are interchangeable. some are vertical mounts, some are horizontal mounts, there are several different daughter cards, but all parts can swap from one to another.

PS. you picked about the hardest raster monitor to start on.

Heh, that's the way my luck goes.

Alright thanks guys for the info, I'm ordering the parts today.

Well its not any harder to work on, just harder to take apart and then put back together again.

Well any monitor will be hard for me since I have no experience at all with them. So maybe it might be a good learning experience to work on one with a bit more difficulty.... Or I might end up putting my head through the monitor, we'll see.

I'm really hoping to start this out this weekend if time allows it. I'll keep posted how it goes, and I'll have pics of my progress.

I just did one of these last night. took me about 90 minutes and 3 beers, lol

when you put the brightness pot back on the input card, I always mount it backwards (on the solder side of the board) so it's easyer to adjust.
