I've had this Donkey Kong cocktail for over a year. It had red lines going across the game. My dad is an electronics tech and he checked the monitor and knew the problem wasn't there, but he doesn't know much about arcades. So I bought what I thought was a 4 board DK board off ebay that turned out to be Radar Scope. While tearing out the old DK boards I found some green corrosion on one of the boards, so I cleaned it off with baking soda and a toothbrush. Its been sitting for the past week, so I finally hooked it up today and guess what NO MORE RED LINES! Yippy!

I just can't believe it was that easy.

Sorry about the pic, no flash in a room with bad lighting. But it looks great in person after a few adjustments.

Good news for you and Now you got spare parts for the next time. While I am glad your machine is fixed. I wonder why there was green corrosion on your board in the frist place. Personally I would check it once a year to make sure it dosen't come back. And if it does I would be looking into upgrading or replacing the connectors.
