Well I decided to pick up The Pit game today, it's the cocktail version.. A guy locally was selling it for $200 but I managed to get it for $150, I think I got a good deal. The game is in mint condition( it looks brand new, it even still had the plastic covering on the corners) , the guy said when he got it the game was still in the box and it also has the original manual and schematics with it. The reason he was selling it was he also picked up a pinball cocktail at the same time so he and his kids always play the pinball game and he really didn't have room for both games. What do you guys think about the price? Here are some pictures.

Thanks guys. When I contacted the guy selling it and he said he'd take $150 I figured I didn't have anything to lose by taking a look at it, I was going to offer $130 when I got there but after I saw the condition it was in I just gave him the $150. I have only had a chance to play it very briefly but it seems to be a very basic game but it seems like fun ( very similar it seems to dig dug). I prefer games from the 80's because they aren't to involved and that is why I guess most of my games are from that time frame. I am not a big fan of the new games and gaming systems of today.

Thanks for info about that, I couldn't figure out what HUO was. Defintely an HUO game, it is so clean and really doesn't look like it has ever been played much. I actually just finally got around to playing it for a bit, a really fun game but wow is it challenging. I am very happy I picked it up.

What's a decent condition working upright worth ya think??

I don't have the keys to the game so I couldn't get into the coin box so I decided to make my own key( screwdriver and a pair of vice grips), after opening the coin box I found 2 fuses, 2 stickers for the game which have 50 cents on the, some extra bolts and an adapter for the powercord which I believe all these items are from the factory because on the power cord is a tag that says if needed use adapter. After taking out the coin box I was able to see the coin counter for how many time the game was played and it only shows 7 plays on the game and I am thinking the 7 plays were from previous owner because he didn't know how to set the game to free play which I have done and he did say it was in the box when he got it.
