It definitely needs a good cleaning and the back glass is missing, I got it, a Galaga and an Outrun upright all for $400

He said they all worked before being stuffed in a shed 10 years ago and both the arcades fired right up.

Anything I should know/do before plugging it in? I don't have any keys to it. Where do the wires that are dangling on the right side of the head go?

For starters, cut the battery off of the CPU board. It's the top left board, and the battery is the white thing on the bottom middle of the board. That's the original battery. Luckily, it doesn't look like it leaked.

It looks like there are quite a few wires that aren't connected. Look in the bottom of the body - you might need to fish some wires up to the backbox. Generally, the plugs will only fit in one spot.

Got it all together and everything (almost) works. Only things that I can notice wrong is no sound, a few burnt out bulbs, a few yucky rubbers and sometimes the flippers in the basement playfield don't always work.

What's the best way to clean it?

I cut the battery off, could that be causing the no sound?

You've got to at least re-cap your sound board. Google "squawk & talk" for some good tutorials. Congrats, this is a great pin!

Novus 2 and a good quality carnuba wax after to clean it.

The battery being removed will not effect the operation of the soundboard.

Make sure you have the soundboard hooked up correctly and check the speaker.

I got the sound working, it helps if you plug the speaker into the board >_>

That background hum is probably the most annoying sound I've ever heard in my entire life. I played one game with it on and then I changed the sound settings from #3 to #2.

It sounds like the sound board could use a cap kit but that's a job for another day.
