I bet this guy wishes he paid his storage fees!

Guy probably died and next of kin had no idea of the storage. I would love that Stargate Pinball, always wanted one....

Such a great game. I had one for years. The biggest issue is the sound... There is this screeching noise it makes that gets really grating. The vocal cues are also quite annoying. But the gameplay far outweighs the sound issue.

Props to that guy for at least going by known price guides!, and not just assuming EVERY pinball machine is worth $3000.

The article makes it sound like it's not a sale of abandoned goods. It sounds like it may be the collector himself making the sale.

problem with boston pinball guide, it reflects ebay selling prices (gross), but does not reflect the ebay and paypal fees which sould be subtracted to show the net of the sale.

also, many of those prices reflect items being able to be shipped. when its strictly a LOCAL auction (as this storage locker), that changes the number of potential buyers. another thing, when you buy games in bulk, isnt there supposed to be a discount involved? lastly, most of the items sold on epay and reflected in the boston guide, are shopped fully working. are the pins in the storage locker in this condition? too many variables.
