Since moving to MT my cookies haven't been as good, I'm ashamed of myself... so I wanna be QUEEN OF THE SLOPES now instead!! :)

Hahaha oops! It was queen up until a few nights ago when I copy/pasted king in red letters this time (unless you want to be "king of queens" ;) ) I'll fix this emergency blooper right away.
As for queen of the slopes I can't do anything about that, however if you buy yourself an Alpine Ski, you can become the best at that, and we'll crown you queen for that..its kinda like the same thing, right?
All other new official kings or queens will get the daily crown later this evening.

Josie,

You just need to modify the recipe for high altitude baking. Reduce the oven temp by ~25 degrees and add an extra tablespoon or two of water to compensate for the lack of humidity. It takes a little experimentation but with a little practice they should be back up to your usual high standards.

When we moved to Denver, it took a lot of experimentation to get my family secret Scottish shortbread cookies to turn out. Half the fun was eating the mistakes.
