I agree as a seller- Ebay SUCKS

Which caused good sellers making a fair margin (like myself) to leave in droves, leaving you with a much higher percentage of foreign and scummy dealers. So while you "feel" safer, are you actually safer?

You make some excellent points-the only thing is that they (Paypal-ebay) rely heavily on the tracking info on the ticket that they send you for return.
So in essence, you CAN'T say that you sent something back when you didn't because the tracking #'s are input into the system as soon as you drop it off at the UPS store.
AND, if the burned buyer thinks they can pull a fast one by sending a box with, say, a bunch
of rocks instead of a laptop, no go. The exact weight of the item is listed on the ticket that they sent you. So unless you weigh out the rocks to the exact measurement, it will flag it as something fishy.
But again, it is a flawed system and I certainly can see why a seller would be very very nervous. I myself have had great luck selling-I started out back in 1996 and had accrued close to 2000 successful transactions. But I could not even tell you when I actually sold something last---maybe 2-3 years ago?

So before the no-feedback and "we always side with buyer" changes took effect? Try it again and tell me what you think now.

Yea, have not sold anything because of that. That's OK though-Craigslist is actually a decent medium for selling. To date, I've had good luck. Money in hand-item sold. No call backs, no drama. For selling purposes, much better and safer than ebay.
