I saw a video of Hyperspin the other day and became inspired to build a MAME machine. I have been downloading themes the past couple of days but this one at a time BS and having to wait 3 minutes in between DLs is for the birds.

Does anyone have a link to a torrent for a theme pack or anything?

You have to spend like 20 bucks or something to get unlimited access, well worth it when you consider how much time people put into making these and you're basically getting them for Free.

The cost is $25 and after you donate you need to email the email addy that shows on your Paypal receipt asking for FTP access.

I have a complete 135 rom set using Hyperspin on a Dual Core proc and it's as seemless as any other front end I've used.

if its a torrent your after I see someone posted something on underground-gamer.com if you need an invite for that site PM me, but according to the torrent: "It has all thats offered by the hyperspin FTP as of 2009-07-27" personally I donated and actually help create some of the Hyperspin Themes.

Ah very cool - I'm a member there too and I never even knew they had it!

Can it do a search for a game yet?

I would think it would get tedious to scroll through 8,380 games.

It's a great front end if you can distill what you're going to put on the cab to say maybe 50 - 100 games, but over that it just gets annoying to get to the game you want.

Thanks GunSmokeGuy... that was what I was looking for.

And as been stated before... this FE seems to be more ideal for a small rom set and not thousands. Besides who really needs to play both the world version and then go to the US version of a ROM or all the different revisions of Street Fighter?

You can create favs catagories as well. I have mine broken into sub cats.. like Games a-b, b-c, c-d, etc... That way if I want a game that starts with S I can jump to the S-T catagory and just have to scroll through the S list.. Oh, and I only have 1 rom version for each game and not other versions like world, and clones..
