Bought a Hyperball a while back. Worked, sort of, intermittently. The Power supply board was hacked to crap. Had that fixed (thank you Todd!!!!), then all hell broke loose on the boards, and game was dead.

Sent ALL the boards out to Chris Hibler to look at. He worked every board, up and down, play tested them in his own machine, and I got them back on Tuesday. Last night I had a chance to re-install them (carefully) and now Hyperball is running like a champ!!!

I need to work on the auger motor, as that is still intermittent (nothing to do with the boards).

I can't say enough about the work that Chris Hibler does. He is very professional. He was more than patient with all my questions, and kept me aware of his progress every step of the way. For all the repairs and testing he did, I feel the price was incredibly fair.

Anyway, here's what I had BEFORE the power supply was repaired. You can see alot of lights not working, no GI, no backbox lighting. Very hard to play.

We (when I say we, I mean Todd (EagleTG)) then attempted to fix the hacked power supply. After this was completed, the game would power on with the "special coils" locked on, all flasher lights locked on, and the auger running constantly. The game would not go into game over mode, or power up, and was unplayable. Not sure what happened, but I was ready to pack it in. I honestly think the hacks on the PS board were covering a multitude of sins throughout the machine, and the op did this just to get it to function. I am in NO way saying that what Todd did had anything to do with the demise of the game.

Sent the boards off to Chris, and now I have this. Working GI, working machine, all lights working (2 bulbs I need to replace), cannon stronger than ever. Fast, fun, and operational machine.

And a video with dorky narration :)

I was really hoping to bring this to the Allentown show, but my schedule did not allow it. Next year, if it is still running 100%, it will be at the show.
