While swapping socketed parts between boards, I dropped some of the chips on the bottom board and have no idea what sockets they go into! I have tried many permutations but have either not hit the right one or something has failed on the board. :-(

So, if someone has a boardset that uses 27128 EPROMs and can check for me whether these are placed correctly, I would appreciate it!

Socket A12 has chip 330D24
Socket A14 has chip 330D26
Socket C12 has chip 330D10
Socket C14 has chip 330D22

Mine has

Socket A12 has 330 C 24 (not D as you have)

Socket A14 has 330 C 26 (not D as you again)

I cant make out my other 2 because the numbers are stamped on stickers that are almost completely flaked off.

Hope this helps.

Try comparing to mame roms.

Already looked in the hyperspt.zip and checked the source. There is only one rev. (C) in MAME and it uses only 2764s.

I guess I could read the masked ROMs on my board and then split the files and see if they match anything. I assumed they will not match since mine are rev D but it probably would be a good idea to read them all in anyway.

I cleaned the legs on those 4 masked ROMs with an eraser and then the fully working board was back to working 100%.

Now I'll note where the ROMs are located and get back to the bad board set.

Thanks!
