Hey guys finally getting to my hydro thunder again
The issue: the force feedback slams the wheel to the left and stays there.
What I've done:
Replaced steering pot and recalibrated. The game plays fine without the motor plugged in.
So my options I believe are replacing the motor? Which I don't know if I need to as it's really strong so I feel like i don't need to but if anyone knows how to test if the motor is bad I'd love to hear it.
I could replace the driver board? I did replace the little silver amp and the 2 big capacitors as I've heard these are the common culprits.
Another thing I see thrown around is the Diego board? I don't exactly know what its purpose is but would that be worth looking into? Sorry I'm not the most knowledgeable in this but I'd like to get it up and running please let me know if anyone has any tips.
