Well, being that we have a member here that has a cab with the music intact, I'd say he's wrong... but what do I know? I don't own a Nibbler...

...plus if you look on page 44 of the Nibbler manual you will see a schematic that shows IC31, IC32, and IC34 which has a number of their pins labeled "MUSIC"...
