Hey all!!

I totaly think I "F-ed" up! I finally finished the xtra playfield and clear coated it. I had to soldier in the Q and T relay from the old playfield and must have crossed some wires. Does anyone have a HULK pin that has pix of the Q and T relay. OR! Better yet have a copy of the schematic? Even if you just listed the wire colors and position it would be a big help! The game played great until I changed out playfields.

Thanks

John

THANKS!!

I saw that, but I have a System 1 Gottlieb that has double stacks of leaf switches on each coil(Q/T). Thay didn't make it easy to fix and they have to "work togeather" to actually "work". Soooo...instead of switching 2 stacks and trying different combinations I have to switch 4 to see where my goof is

hmmm... I have several system 1 games but most are stored. I might be able to get to my Sinbad later today. I'm supposed to be picking up a hulk but that's not any time soon. I also have an asteroid annie and countdown here. I'll see what I can do for you...

I can't make any guaranteed but I'll see.

You should post some pictures of it once you get everything sorted out. Got to love these Gottlieb games always something to do I'm waiting on my rebuild kits to come in the mail and just fixed my Q relay like you did.

Hey METALHUGH,

HELP!!! I had wired it up all wrong but now I have a bigger prob! I need help with a "stray wire".

On the "Q" relay, the top right wire is a red/orange wire that leads to the "T" relay. I can't tell where it goes on the "T" relay I see the red/orange wire on the top right of the "T" relay but that is a single wire and leads to the board. The wire I am looking at from your pic is the upper right off the "Q", is the lower most wire in the bundle and heads up to the "T" relay after the 4th band/wrap. It apperas to connect to the left most stack but I don't know where.

I tried to post a pic but it didn"t work for me. I am looking at your pic you sent with the "Q" relay on the right and the wire bundle/leads running along the bottom. (for orientating purposes)

Any "more" help is/would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks again!

John

Hey John!

I wish I had my Genie, it would be easier to help. I did take a lot of pictures of my Genie when I was restoring it, I'll go through them and let you know ASAP.
