Based on the brief instructions for my rejuvenator, it states Excessive H-K Leakage cannot be repaired, use Isolation Transformer.

The blue gun pins the meter to the right when tested in both H-K and G1 Leakage. Should I just chuck the tube?

I did try the steps to restore, but it didn't help.

Thanks.

Did you try the rejuvenate option? What position is the monitor in when you are doing the work.

I have found that heater leakage can be repaired about 30% of the time, despite what the instructions say. Hit the gun with a rejuvenation cycle and have the monitor face down when you do it.

You may want to consider tapping on the neck as well. Sometimes the leakage is due to build up in the tube and laying it face down while tapping on the neck can dislodge the build up. Just don't break the glass...

You are amazing good sir. That worked wonders.

Now, this was an existing monitor that had no chassis attached to it when I got it. I see why now.

Anyway, I purchased a 25" k7000 off a member here and it's running, but I can't get it to fill the screen. The v-size is maxed and when I shrink it just a little it causes the screen to bounce. See picture.

Is it possible this is actually a k7000 19" chassis?

whats the number silkscreened on the chassis? if its 538 it shoudl be a 25, or at leas most of the time.

what part# voltage regulator is on it?

The guy that sold me the chassis took pictures of it hooked up to a 25" before he sent it off. Plus it's Smalltownguy and he's been around here a while.

When I pull it I can look at the information you are requesting. I have a spare working 25" monitor I am going to swap with the cabinet tomorrow and bring this one home to work on.
