Moving along. This is precisely the paypal tact someone used to rip me off recently. With paypal friends and family, you are at their mercy, they take NO risk, and you have no recourse. It's fine for "REAL" friends and family but I highly recommend (after my experience) you don't get pushed into using it by strangers.

Those games are beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen a Willow that looks that good.
Strange about all the angst about Paypal F&F, I've used it regularly on KLOV, I just make a judgement call on the sellers rating.
I can vouch for Kidrivers, when I lived in St Louis, I bought a nintendo cabinet from him and also gave a game to him when I needed to move to Florida quickly and no room on the truck.

It's hard to gauge a MMAO thread without a base. I've taken the prices from Jon Exidy's
price guide that might help others with a starting point of how much each of these are,
but it's mainly up to the seller on what he'll accept as fair, etc...

Street Fighter - Upright dedicated game (large button version) $2500+-. Collector price.
Strider - Dedicated upright game. $750-$1250. Collector/ebay price.
Willow - conversion upright game $750-$1250. craigslist/collector price.
Final Fight - Upright conversion $350-$500. Collector/craigslist.
Bionic Commando (Capcom) - Upright game $400-$500. Collector price.
Ghouls & Ghosts - Dedicated game $1500-$2500. Collector/ebay price.
If the seller clearly states F&F payment only clearly and upfront, that's fine. If the buyer agrees to pay F&F, that's their prerogative. But a seller can not force a buyer against their will to pay F&F.
Thanks man I appreciate the kind words, and I still have the Space Invaders it's a keeper for me. LOL. I totally understand people not wanting to use friends and family, and I probably wouldn't do it myself unless I contacted who I was dealing with. But with the state of things today it's not a risk I'm willing to take but I understand if other people are uncomfortable and don't want to take that risk either. We should have a choice.
I currently have sold a game to a member here and he paid half up front and will pay the other half when Bob shows up to pick it up. I have no problem working with somebody that has any concerns, if you know Bob you could actually have him call you the day he picks it up before you pay me, I don't care,but it's not leaving my possession unless it's paid by friends and family or cash.

GLWTS. If you were local there are a couple I'd consider, but adding $300+ to the price in shipping kinda kills it for me. I'm sure most of these will go quickly though. They look great!

I have never felt like Exidy's guide was a good reflection of pricing for my area. IDK why people quote it. I know a price guide is an incredible undertaking and that it's almost impossible to keep it current and have it apply universally. That being said Final Fight is a great example of how off the pricing is. These are going for crazy money around here right now, $350-$500 isn't even half of what they are selling for.

kinda simple explanation actually. the exidy price guide is the only one in the world that
exists for this hobby... klov is the main #1 site for all things arcade and klov doesn't even
have a simple market place like pinside has... so that's why people constantly and will
forever quote prices from jon exidy's very updated and current price guide. his prices are
actually not far off.

Final Fight has been a game I have followed ever since I sold an original set of PCB/Marquee/Bezel for a couple hundred 2-3 years ago. I didn't think
Much of the game (why I sold it) but shortly after I visited ZapCon and there was one on the floor...I was kind of surprised when I watched being played almost 100% of the time... Clesrlynit has some nostalgic meaning for the new generation who were teens in the early 90s... because not the PCB alone seems to fetch at least $250...
Yeah, the Final Fight pricing is way off, offer him $350 and he'll send you the PCB with free shipping LOL. Don't part it. Condition means a lot & games look Great. GLWS!

I really like your cabinets I always called them data east cabinet now I know what there called. And as far as exidy guide first paragraph says restored games with new art and restored controls and tubes are worth substantial more money.
Ok, this is what i was trying to avoid. Seems like most for sale threads turn into this garbage which is why i stated my terms in the beginning. I'm no fan of Gleek, but as soon as there is a hint of drama, the usual players pop up like whack-a-mole.
If you were even remotely an adult, you would have just ignored him,or brushed him off politely. Instead, here we are again. You and sleazeball (who never shows up unless it's to say something ignorant), and the other cronies of your harem (who im sure will show up shortly) remind me of the BLM and Antifa fools. You always run in packs and pretend to be tough guys in a group, but are in reality cowards.
I'll be posting the games on other sites if anyone is interested. Thanks for the kind comments about the games, i'm sure i'll miss them when they are gone, and ill probably start looking to get them back after i realize what i've done....lol
