I was capping a Sanyo EZ yesterday. I don't remember which cap it was, but there were a couple of the same value (say...10uf @ 160V) but one was /much/ larger then the other and had "HR" right under the rating.

What does the HR mean?

Should I be concerned that the cap I replaced it with doesn't have the HR designation?

Should I pick up some of these?

Answering my own question (I think)...

The "HR" stands for "High Reliability". In other words, these particular caps are rated to be able to stand the max temperature for a set amount of time. Say...2000 hours. Since it's quite unlikely that these caps would be at 105 degrees 24/7, I'm not worried.
