How would you like to wait almost 2 months for this?

Don't give me that much credit, I am not Bob Dylan here...

Perhaps just the last syllable rhymes?? IDK, I'm guessing, too??
But only a few peeps out there are selling MP CP's.

And I know there is usually a 2+ months backlog.

Regardless, if QA is still selling the same quality MP CP's that I rec'd, then that is the best available immediate option, IMO...

TOG is great to look at from their website but you'll never get any of it any time soon. That's really a part of the issue. The accurate stuff takes forever or never and the inaccurate garbage is readily available.
I'm fully aware people have been burned with literal years-long waits for TOG but they seem to have gotten more on top of things lately. I've placed at least 4 orders with them in the past year including one "out of stock" and "archived" item and all shipped within about 2 weeks.

At this point TOG is shipping "fast" and I'm still waiting 12 weeks + a follow up email or two to get something from Szabo's…

People here like to hate on Escape Pod, but my limited work with him has always been great. He uses a good quality polycarbonate laminate on the CPO prints I get from him, and the artwork was supplied by me, so I don't have to worry about accuracy issues. YMMV. For what I need, he's satisfying the requirements.

I like his cpos, not exactly 1:1 with the originals but they go on nice and easy, used a few myself. Whatever the 3m stuff is he prints on it never gets any bubbles or creases no matter how sloppy of a job you do. Have held up for 5+ years without de-lamination. Only art seller I'd actually recommend is Escape Pod, never had an issue with them.
Not to sound like an ass but I'm just amazed that some people have not just downright given up on getting good artwork these days. Every art vendor is trash IMO.
I think you just can't expect exact 1:1's. There are a lot of crappy sellers out there though who don't stand by their product. If you're expecting 1:1's you'll always be disappointed, I think sellers are over promising and under-delivering when it should be the other way.

I learned that lesson a long time ago, don't do business with Joe Szabo. Won't ever talk to the guy again. 👎

that is exactly my experience too. I use his CPO's on Golden Tee games which get tremendous abuse. In more than 5 years, I've never had someone come back and complain about anything. Dozens of CPO's, just adhered to the top of the old plastic one. The other nice thing about the polycarbonate laminate he uses? It's new, soft and fresh, which means it cuts beautifully. Trims with an exacto knife very clean. I can't speak to what others are using, but I have worked with CPO's before that used laminate that was very difficult to cut without delamination and/or cracking/tearing. It's for this reason that you don't need die-cut holes. It's possible to trace a hole with an exacto knife and get a good circle anyway.

Sorry to get off-topic. Just thought I'd share.

I've had a few NeoGeo pieces from Joe and they were decent, just had to wait two months or so and then email to chase the order. I've also had a couple of sets of side art from him and the quality seemed perfectly good enough.

I got a full set of BurgerTime art from Joe a few years ago including printed side art (my first resto and stenciling paint probably wouldn't have gone well). I am perfectly happy with the result and quality. I did have to get him to reprint the bezel as it had a typo referring to "PETTER PEPPER" (I wonder how many he sold with the typo before I had him fix it….). But it was still like a 3 month wait for it.

Also recently bought a Dr Mario marquee and bezel. The marquee was done in a mere 4-5 weeks. The bezel, a separate order, was supposed to be 6-8 weeks. After 11, I emailed and got a "we just got the material in, it will go out this week" which it did, but I feel like I shouldn't need to inquire about the status of my order just to trigger it actually being completed. Again, the quality is quite nice but the lead time is unreasonable.

If these art producers charged when your order shipped rather than at order time maybe they would be a little more motivated to get stuff out the door….

Got another one today, I believe it's from quarterarcade. What a difference, textured, die cut, colors look better, and 15g heavier.
Alls well that ends well, and MUCH APPRECIATED.

And unless I'm pronouncing it wrong,
Joe Szabo rhymes with mashed potato all day long and would be an acceptable lyric in any Chili Peppers song.
