i have a line on a 4-player D-Derby cocktail or island cabinet but i don't know if i have anywhere to put it if i can't get it through standard-sized doorways.

anyone know how wide it is at the narrowest point? neither the manuals nor flyers i could find give the dimensions.

thanks!

I also suspect those are crated dimensions and weights. Looking at the pictures of the uprights and it looks like a normal classic era cabinet, not something 10 inches wider than normal.

The cocktail has a 25" monitor and it seems to basically fill the width of the island cabinet, which leads me to believe you should have no problem getting it in anywhere you can get a normal game.

I suspect the cocktail is listed as the lowboy here.

The formula for Dim Weight is (L" x W" x D")/194. The examples shown here show the actual dimensional weight for the game, and then given an estimated shipping dimensional weight assuming that 5" of packing material is needed in each dimension.

If we take their explanation of the dimensional weights listed and check the values they list the dimensional weights as 261 lbs for actual and 384 lbs for shipping, then I think these might be the actual dimensions, not the crated ones.

Actual?
(48 x 34 x 31)/194 = 260.78

Shipping (Actual + 5" to each)?
((48 + 5) x (34 + 5) x (31 + 5))/194
(53 x 39 x 36)/194 = 383.56

You are correct though, he shouldn't have much problems getting it through a standard 36" door as long as it's turned correctly. If you compare this to an upright like a Pacman (26" x 34") it's not much bigger.

Truth will tell when we see pics or it didn't happen! :)

I used to have a Dunk Shot cocktail, same basic thing, 4 player 25" island, but with big plastic marquee extensions sticking out on both sides.

It still fit through my front door completely intact, although I did have to remove one of the side marquees (each like 3" wide) to get it through a narrow internal door.

Click the sketchup link in my sig. Download the dd model. The the measuring tape icon in sketchup. Done deal.

I'll measure mine later but as you can see in my restoration thread... It's a tight fit coming through a standard exterior door.

I am leaving the house to pick one up right now. I will measure it as soon as I get it home.

awesome, thanks guys! my front door is pretty wide but my preference would be to take it into the "garage" which has a narrower door (and no large door.)

29 3/4" wide by 35 3/4" deep and heavier than you would ever believe.
