Ok, I have my 60-1 in front of me, I am trying to figure out if there is any way to identify what's on it, I don't have my -5V hooked up yet!. So I cant put in my cab. there is a couple of games I have been thinking I hope is on this one.
Only identifier I can see is a HPH VER309 stick on one of two chip banks, other bank is empty.

any ideas or suggestions (don't want to try and power Without the -5v and possibly damage it!)

looking closely i dont see how the -5 is run unless its a sublayer on the board which of course is possible.. LOL anyhow pics attached now

none of the 60 in 1 boards i have used required a -5v

as far as games it looks like one of the older run 60's since it has the plastic cover on it but even then it should still have the standard list of games all the 60 in 1 boards have

lol yea i have 2 60's ready to sell right now and neither has - 5 v and to date out of the 20-30 multis (even 39,48 in 1 )i have built i never ran a - 5 v

go to jammaboards.com and they have a list of the 60 games . You just have to go to the online shop and poke around a bit to find it.

Lol..

LOL.. No I get it, Just thinking DAMN, this Neo 29 is a BEAST when it comes to the screen. ill check it out tonight, pretty sure just couple of bolts and rotate and re bolt..
need to double check, Just seems like this will be a 2 person job =-)

Uh...duh?

SO wait, you didn't want to mess with my tekken board because you'd have to run wires from a kick harness to your buttons, but you bought a 60 in 1 without knowing it was vertical, and now you're ripping out a monitor to swap it so you can play it?

You are a weird weird dude.

well really on a candy cab its really alot faster and less work to just rotate the monitor instead of finding thoes stupid small connectors used on the buttons so that you can hook up a kick harness
now it would be ideal if you went ahead and bought a couple of replacment cp's
for the candy then you can have several diffrent layouts on your cp and all you need to do is just pop out one cp and install the other

i said screw it on mine tho and just put every game in my pony mark IV
lol

depending on thesetup on thoes neo 29's its really pretty simple to rotate candy monitors just make shure you rotate the monitor the correct direction so you dont rip any wires out or break the neck board

No, and No.

No, and No,
from my research the NEO 29 Was made to be able to Rotate. so no ripping it out. two bolts out turn 90 degrees and bolts back in..
I need to verify its set this way, but I am not going to do it as of tonight.

and Yea, I didn't want to add buttons to my cab nor modify my cab wiring wise.

and No, I did not buy the 60 in 1. and Yes I did not know it was Vert,
I did just hook it up and awesome mix on it.. but not going to rotate monitor right now.

so short form, Yea, I didn't want to deal with the kick harness.
No, did not buy the 60 in 1 and yes I did not know it was Vert.
and no will not rip out monitor, will look into rotation later on once I get a few other
things straightened out.

Weird, Yea, I've heard that one.. LOL.. Oddball, goof ball... LOL

Yes, Im learning still here and love doing so..

And still kicking around the thought of that tekken.
Times are tighter than Id like right now though.

Hate to break it to you, but you can run the kick harness directly to the button instead of messing with those intermediary connectors that come in the cab. I have them in my astro city and I just run my CPS2 kick straight to the buttons. It took all of 3 minutes.

And rotating a 29" monitor is NOT easy. Maybe it's "easy" but that thing is heavy and awkward to maneuver. UNLESS yours has a rotate mechanism built in like the Egret II. Those things are cool.

Anyway.

EDIT: Not trying to sound bitter or anything, but your post didn't make me think you're any less weird. :p Have fun with the 60 in 1. :)

well.

Damn nice one you got there.
yea, on the monitor rotation I would need to go 90 degrees clockwise.
I don't have any idea what the slack is on the cables, Haven't looked yet..
And yes, I would rather not break anything ;)

yes,

I have heard about those egret's and I think there is a couple more with a rotation mech built in.. wish this one was too. and Tekken 2 was 4 buttons right?.. wonder if I can make a sub harness and have some insulated connectors where it would plug in when needed and then just disconnect.

Yes, Tekken 2 is 4 buttons. Not sure why you need to make a sub harness, but you could if you wanted to I suppose.

i just stated to watch the wires and neck when rotating because thats why mine is now a mame machine

the owner before me tried to rotate it but turnd it the wrong direction the wires hung up pulled out of the board and totaly fried the monitor chassis

even tho its a 29 inch monitor the way mine was setup it was really a breze to rotate but yes they are heavy sob's
but still better than trying to rotate a monitor in a cut corner dynamo

ps thanks for the complement it took alot of work to get it looking that good
ut was narsty when igot it
