I am trying to go the extra mile on my Q*Bert restoration... so far, it's all sanded down with 220, bondoed, and ready for primer... I applied bondo to all 4 corners and they seemed sturdy at first, but as soon as I tipped the cabinet over to sand, the bondo from one corner broke off. I am now wondering if my other corners need reinforced too. I've heard that fiberglass resin is good for corners but I'm still wondering how it's going to stick to this surface, as it's almost flat... I've attached a photo of the corner. What would be your approach? I'm beginning to wonder if I should just let it go because it's not that bad...however, I just wanted to see if anyone had any insight.

I believe that if you fasten one or two screws in the surface that is needing bondo, that will help give the bondo something to grab onto.

I am currently repairing the corners on my Star Wars cabinet. My last video shows the prep work before I applied bondo. The next video which I am still working on will be the bondo video but in the last video I use Minwax Wood Hardener to make the wood solid so the bondo has something besides wood flakes to bond to. I also use wood pegs to help give the bondo something extra to bond to but most of that will be in the next video but maybe the Minwax will help.
