Guys,

Troubleshooting my sound problems on my Black Knight and am going to try and swap my speaker. It seems that is has soldered clips on it. Assume more System 7 games do.

Is the easiest way to replace to clip the wires, strip them, and then attach to new speakers?

Yeah that would be one way if you don't just want to desolder them from the speaker...

Before you even do that, if you have a 9-volt battery take a couple wires from the battery and hook them to the speaker for a second. If you hear a pop or the cone move, then in all likely hook you're speaker is at least functional. What is wrong with your sound?
