I cant get the acorn nuts off the plastics of my SMB. They just spin there and heckle me. How do I remove these bastages?

5/16" nut driver. If they don't want to lift off, apply pressure underneath with a flat-head screwdriver....

You can stick a 1/4" wrench on the hex part of the post to keep it from turning with the nut...

Alot of time it's the stud thats spinning. Those acorn nuts don't have the same type threads like a standard nut. Just lift while turning with some pliers.
Oh and while your at it deliver that Galaxian to me LOL.

Yes those acorn nuts are nasty little things to get off.

Either use a very flat 1/4" wrench, like those super cheap old ones or buy this:

It is a flat wrench that will reach under the plastic and hold the metal post and keep it from spinning. Worth it's weight in gold.
