My job is relocating me from Honolulu, Hawaii to Atlantic City, NJ. The movers did a great job and even built a custom wooden crate for the Ms Pac! Sweet! It will take about 7 weeks for all my stuff to arrive plus it may need to be in storage for a few months.

Unfortunately, with my departure I think the Hawaii KLOV chapter is now down to only 1 member. (armi0024)

Good Luck!

Good Luck on the move and the relocation!!

Wow..talk about a change...Hawaii to the East Coast!

Hope the game makes it fine!! I am sure it will..

Godspeed!

My wife says she would have stayed in Hawaii. I have to agree with her. Why NJ?

You must LOVE your job. From Hawaii to Atlantic City, huh? Wow..... I hope they gave you a hella raise.

Atlantic City is an absolute shit hole. I hope they paid you WELL to make the move. That's like downgrading from a Corvette to a Chevette...

Only up side is that you will be able to get more machines at a cheaper shipping rate.

I'd have quit. I've been to both and I'd rather be homeless in Honolulu than employed in Atlantic City.

So sorry to hear that. I've never been to Hawaii, but I have been to AC. I think I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a stick that have to make that move. Good luck.

so are you originally from hawaii? and did you get the ms pac there? just curious on the game situation down there, and if classics are hard to come by?

With Ms pacs so easily available stateside, wouldnt you have been better off selling it there and gettin ga ms pac over here. I am only thinking that you may get someone on the island to pay a good price since there are so few over there and shipping one to the island is usually deal breakers.

Sell it for 800-100 over there and pick one up for 300-500 here.

just my thoughts which are usually worthless

1) Not from Hawaii. Job took me here 3 years ago.
2) Bought the Ms Pac in Hawaii from some guy who moved it here from California with his home move.
3) Arcade games are very limited here, but low prices if you find one.

The move does not cost me anything. Plus I did put a bit of time and effort into fixing the game. Its a keeper.

The Hawaii chapter misses you :( Games are too scarce here, but not as scarce as people who like them. I am still in search of the EDOT's....I will find them in my 6 years here
