how to mount panel mount switches (like test/service)

How does everyone mount their test/service switches?

I have some like this

https://www.radioshack.com/products/dpdt-toggle-switch?variant=20332074949

and I was thinking about getting some like this:

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...=sGAEpiMZZMtFyPk3yBMYYDEonMP4r5IE2Mt0rrW650Q=

But I don't know how I would mount them.

The radio shack ones typically are in sheet metal, but I want to make "custom" new panels. And in one case, a big one for a test bench harness.

I'm looking for ideas.

Thanks!

Someone could design up a 3d model of a mount and 3d print it, but that would be specific to the type of switch and how you wanted it mounted.

dremel, take your time and make a snug fitting template first and use that on your custom panel .

I went and got myself a dremel.

How do I do a template? (I've never used a dremel before, well maybe once or twice.) Is their a cloning bit like a router or another trick? (Like a pattern bit/attachment?)
