I need to make several inserts for a cd-100. It has a spot for the album artwork on the left and the song title list on the right. Has anyone ever made these using photoshop or similar program. I have seen tutorials how to make labels for the older style machines where it is just the artist and title track but nothing for cd artwork and song track list. Is anyone able to tell me how to do it? Thanks

I made all the ones in my Rockola CD juke. I scanned in my CD covers or found ones online to use as generics and then assembled everything in Quark. After that, I printed them out on the Xerox at work and they look great.

If you have Quark 6 (I think it's in ), I can shoot you the file I made. It'll at least have you starting in a good direction.

I always wanted something that would output to a format that I could have printed on 5x7 photo paper. Send off to Walgreens or Sam Club to have printed. Have the album art on one side and the track listing on the other.

I always wished there was something out there that would do this.

A laser printer won't smear on coated stock because it's fusing toner to the paper. Inkjet printers won't work that good on coated stocks because it's putting ink onto the top of the paper, and a lot of coated stocks prevent the ink from being absorbed into the stock's fibers.

You should be able to find 8.5"x11" photo paper somewhere that should work for you. Just keep in mind that depending upon the size, you may need over 100 sheets (allowing for spoilage), which could be costly.

You want to buy the "Juke CD" program from Low Profile Software. It's what professional juke route operators use. You can import all types of photos/artwork into it also. They have a free demo mode that you can try it out.

I just did the exact same thing to my CD100 - replacing nearly every CD on it and re-doing all of the artwork etc. I bit the bullet and bought the lowprofile software. I have to say that it works very good, but does have some kinks/bugs. I'll admit I am a mac snob and the lowprofile software is not "polished" but most certainly does the trick. You can also get the cards from them as well. Buy the cards with the cutouts.

Additionally, if you are like me, almost all of my cd's did not have jewel cases. I have had them in a case-logic case for years....For all of them, I printed out the jewel case inserts on photo paper using itunes. Never knew you could do that, but if you just click on the album in itunes and go to print, it gives you the option of printing jewel cases. Works perfectly!
Cheers,
Ray
