How to make a Pong 1:2 size from "scrap"...

My good friend Etienne created a working 1:2 sized Pong cab especially for Eurocade (to work as a donation pot/piggy bank).

His goals were to let it cost as little as possible (so using a dumped pallet for wood etc.) and yet get as nice as result as possible.
We usually call Etienne the Dutch McGyver, if you want to know why, check out the thread:

For those who are lazy there is a youtube picture presentation:

Freaking awesome IMHO !

Funny. I just picked up some 5" B+W TV's from the thirft store at $2 each, and I still have lots of Pong based games from rummage sales -- from Atari/Sears to every clone imaginable.

Anyway, was just thinking yesterday, I should build a 1/3rd size or 1/4 size with the 5" screen. (BTW--what was the screen size in original Pong... 13" or larger?)

1/2 to 1/3rd size.. somewhere around 40% would be the right sise if it was a 13" to scale.

WOW! It turned out so nice! Good work my friend!
Has me thinking about other fun ones you could make. :D
